Economic Justice

The quest for economic justice begins with offering equal opportunities for all people irrespective of gender, race, age, disability, religious affiliation, and sexual orientation. Studies have consistently demonstrated that unequal opportunities, exacerbated by the high cost of living in many cities,  jeopardize the quality of life for those affected. Economic justice is critical to protecting Los Angeles’ most economically vulnerable residents, such as low-income students, the homeless, and low-paid workers seeking equitable working conditions and living wages. Economic Justice includes basic labor rights, legislation, enforcement, and housing.
